medusahealingSo this weekend I had planned a trip to go to Wisconsin because I didn't want to be in town for the fourth.
But some time last week I noticed something was off about my car, and on Friday night it came to a head when it sounded like one of my wheels was vibrating in such a manner it was not safe. I slowed down and it helped but did not improve much. I contemplated driving home on the back roads but instead called a tow truck to tow it to a shop.
Found out that when i got my alignment on Monday they neglected to tell me some key information, like come back in 50 to 100 miles so we can check your lug nuts. Apparently my drivers side was actually finger tight. So it wasn't tightened properly, and it could have wobbled right off my car on the interstate. Fun times.
So I took it as a message that I needed to stay home this weekend.
Nothing like realizing you could have been in a serious accident and you avoided it because you followed that little voice that said, maybe not.
